Lahaina before the fires Collection
This special collection preserves Rafael Pereda’s memories of Lahaina as it was before the devastating fires of August 2023. Rafael also lost his physical gallery in the disaster, yet he continues to honor Lahaina and Maui through paintings that remember its beauty, places and enduring spirit.
This tribute is shared with deep respect for the lives lost, the survivors, their families and the entire Lahaina community.

~In memory of Lahaina~
“As we mark the anniversary of the Lahaina fires, we remember the lives that were lost, the families forever changed, and the community that continues to carry Lahaina in its heart.
Rafael Pereda also lost his gallery in the fires, but his memories of Lahaina remain alive through his paintings. This collection is his way of honoring the beauty, spirit, and places that made Lahaina so deeply loved”…
